Matyas Kalman graduated as a media designer from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest. He has worked as a video journalist for the major Hungarian news portal Index.hu and produced numerous short videos (444.hu, Politico, Transparency International, etc.). He was working as a Video Program Officer at Hungarian Civil Liberties Union. He was director of Happy New Year Hungary, a participatory documentary film with 300+ participants.
In 2017 He was a guest lecturer at ELTE University Department of Media and Communication. Currently runs his own company, COLLOC Productions and works as Head of Video at 24.hu, one of the biggest news portals in Hungary.
