Yen Duong

Yen Duong is a Vietnamese journalist and photographer whose works tend to place a focus on human stories. Her reporting has led her to Palestine, Turkey, Ethiopia and across Vietnam where she is currently based. She has contributed to the New York Times, the Guardian, Bloomberg, Reuters, Al Jazeera, South China Morning Post, Balkan Insight and various NGOs. She's currently a contributing photographer for Reuters and Bloomberg in Vietnam. She's the winner of One World Media's 2019 New Voice Award, a 2018 Women Photograph mentee, a runner-up of 2018 Thomson Foundation Young Journalist Award by the UK Foreign Press Association and a fellow of the South-South Media Lab program, funded by the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) with a short-term residency in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. |
