Yusuf Sayman is an Istanbul and New York based photojournalist. He moved to New York from his native Istanbul in 2000, after finishing a graphic design education.

In 2008, he finished the photojournalism and documentary photography program at the International Center of Photography where he won the John and Annamaria Philips Foundation Scholarship for Photojournalism. Between 2008 and 2011 he worked as an assistant for VII photographer Antonin Kratochvil He exhibited in New York, Berlin, London, Amersfoort and in the Pingyao photography festival in China. His work has been published in the Fader and Fortune magazines, The New York Times, Time.com, TheDailyBeast.com and featured by the International State Crime Initiative.
