Tommy Trenchard is a freelance journalist and photographer currently based in Sierra Leone, where he spent most of 2014 documenting the ongoing Ebola crisis in West Africa. Formerly the Reuters correspondent for Sierra Leone, he writes regularly for The Sunday Times, The Economist and Al Jazeera. His photographs have appeared in leading publications worldwide including The New York Times, Newsweek, The Sunday Times, Paris Match, Businessweek, Der Spiegel, Le Monde, Financial Times Magazine, the BBC, CNN and Al Jazeera among others. NGO clients include Save the Children, The Red Cross, ActionAid and various United Nations agencies. He is available for assignment throughout West Africa and further afield, for editorial, commercial and NGO clients. |
