Stuart Matthews began his career assisting commercial photographers and interning at NOOR Images

photo agency before embarking on his own commercial and editorial commissions.

His personal works In Search of Hope: Climate Displacement in Bangladesh has been exhibited

internationally, among other recognitions he has been finalist of the IdeasTap / Magnum Photos

Photographic Award 2010. A project that was later self-published as a newsprint in 2012.

He is intent on capturing forgotten places and questioning the surrounding circumstances,

reasons and repercussions. Through his work he hope to provide a voice for the people

I have documented and to expose the situations in which they find themselves.

Stuart is now based in London, United Kingdom working on both feature stories and

commercial assignments.
