Stella Paul is a multimedia journalist, reporting independently on environment and development issues such as climate change, sex trafficking, gender violence and sustainable development. Currently based in Hyderabad, India, Stella reports for several leading media outlets including Inter-Press Services, Thomson-Reuters, Huffington Post, and World Pulse. She also trains women from the most vulnerable communities in Internet, video and social media. Stella has won several awards for her journalism that include the National Media award (India) 2013, Dart center fellowship 2013, UN Media Award for best gender sensitive reporting 2012 and UN Convention to Combat Desertification fellowship 2012
