Find a Freelancer

I've had special training for journalists working in conflict regions and have accumulated a significant amount of experience in the field. Main playing field: DRC and other French-speaking countries in Africa. I was present in Tunis during the Arab spring and in Ivory Coast during the unrest surrounding the presidential elections in 2010.

I've been arrested a few times in DRC and spent hours in a presidential Guard prison. I was in Libya to interview Gaddafi while he hid from the world but had to flee the country with my South African cameraman who was mistaken for a Gaddafi mercenary. Right now I'm working on a book and a TV-documentary on Eastern DRC.
