Encarni is an independent Photojournalist/Documentary photographer specialised in long-term photographic projects on social and human rights issues with a focus on gender. She is currently working on a photographic project about violence inflicted on women migrants in the US Southwest, Mexico and Central America. Her photography has been featured in a variety of national and international publications, such as The BBC, The Times, Channel 4, Nacla, Ligory Publications, El Periodico, El Mundo, British Journal of Photography, Yahoo News, Voices of Mexico, Fuera de Serie, among others. She has collaborated with different NGOs and on important photographic projects such us Via PanAm of the Noor Agency. She has also published in alternative media platforms, such us Desinformemonos and Waging Non Violence. |
