Ela Stapley is a British print journalist working on long-term projects that look at the impact of conflict on societies. She has been based and has worked extensively throughout Latin America and Eastern Europe. Ela is co-founder of Factual, a Mexican non-profit that works to strengthen tech capacities among journalists and digital media outlets in Latin America. She works to increase digital security knowledge amongst journalists and is a consultant in basic digital security needs for media workers. Ela has an MA in International Journalism from Cardiff University, UK.
