Find a Freelancer

Charlotte Maxwell is a freelance photojournalist based in London, UK. Her area of focus is around humanitarian and feminist issues with a specific interest in migration. Having traveled the world for the past 6 years this has taught her a great deal on how to work in challenging environments and pick up languages much faster as well as new communication skills.
In the past she has worked as a singer in China, as an English teacher and freelance journalist in Russia and as a charity Team Coordinator and fixer/camerawoman in the Calais refugee camp and Paris.
She studied Anthropology and Archaeology then studied and graduated with a Chinese Honours MA at the University of Edinburgh
