Giovanna has been producing international reportage for over 15 years as a freelance producer and through her indie company Native Voice Films - www.nativevoicefilms.com. She has delivered current affairs and feature documentaries for Channel 4, BBC, Al-Jazeera, ARTE, France 2, HBO and others. Her long form producer feature credits are THE BENGALI DETECTIVE for HBO / E1 which premiered at Sundance and Berlin and won a Grierson Award, LOVE HOTEL in a UK-France co-production for BBC & NETFLIX which premiered at Toronto and BETTY - THEY SAY I’M DIFFERENT for BBC & ARTE which premiered in Amsterdam. Her most recent work has been for BBC Arabic and ITN from Italy as well as delivering the feature documentary THE CLEANER for France 2 set in Mexico. She is currently based in Palermo Italy and London UK. |
