I am a reporter, self-shooting PD and video-editor. I’ve worked for the world’s leading broadcasters for more than twenty years - reporting and shooting across the world, often in hostile environments. I've lived and worked in Central America/Caribbean, France, Africa and India. In Delhi, I worked for the BBC - short, creative films for the technology programme Click. I produced a powerful BBC Our World documentary. “Killing for Conservation” was praised for its original reporting on an important human rights issue and was short-listed for a major award. I was director of photography on the exciting BBC Innovators series. Last Autumn I shot two excellent episodes of On Assignment for ITN, also short-listed for an award. I produce digital video for the BBC and others. While in Lockdown I produced Lockdownland – funny, poignant and thoughtful lockdown stories from across the world. In addition to my journalism, I also make films for international organisations and NGOs. I speak good French and workaday Hindi. I shoot on C300mkII, Fs7, GH4/5s, and edit on FCPX. |
