April Kirby is a cinematographer based in Dallas, Texas. She is currently represented commercially by Threaded Pictures. Notable clients include, PBS Frontline, PBS KCET, National Geographic, UT Southwestern, and The WIN Company. After graduating with a Bachelors in Journalism and Creative Media from The University of Oklahoma, she collaborated with local and international non profits. Her career took her around the world, filming dozens of humanitarian films in Europe, Africa, SouthEast Asia, and Haiti. With over a decade of experience, April brings a natural verité approach to her cinematography. She is a current member of the Video Consortium and the International Documentary Association.
