Camilla Schick is a British multimedia journalist for The New York Times London bureau where she produces visual-led breaking and feature news video with a focus on the UK, Europe, the Middle East, extremism and terrorism. Before joining The Times she was a TV broadcast and video journalist for BBC World in London. She cut her teeth as a video and radio reporter based in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem from 2012-2015 working for international and local news organisations, including the BBC, Al Jazeera and Deutsche Welle. She became one of AJ+'s first video journalists in the region having previously helped launch and anchor a newscast for The Jerusalem Post out of Tel Aviv.

At the start of her journalism career she worked for a London-based news think tank that helped expose the phone-hacking scandal in the UK press. She trained at London's City journalism school and has an MPhil in international relations from Cambridge University and a BSc in anthropology from University College London.
