Diana Zeyneb Alhindawi is a Brooklyn-based, Romanian-Iraqi photographer whose work focuses on the human condition, often in the context of conflict, humanitarian emergencies, social unrest or systemic discrimination. Her photography has been featured by media such as The New York Times newspaper and Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and Le Monde, and international organizations such as Doctors Without Borders and the United Nations. Alhindawi was named one of Lens Culture's Top 50 Emerging Talents in 2014, she received the ICRC Humanitarian Visa d'Or Award in 2015, and she was named one of PDN's 30 New and Emerging Photographers to Watch For in 2018.
