Graduated in Journalism & Social Communications (Belgium) and in Documentary Photography & Digital Storytelling (France). Her predilection goes to social themes strongly rooted in « human » and the sharing of experiences. In 2002, she fell in love with DR Congo at a photo contest allowing her to travel to any country in the world while she was still a student. Since then, she has produced numerous reports published in the Belgian and European press: Le Point, Libération, Jeune Afrique, Paris Match. be, RTBF, Le Soir, La Libre Belgique, Le Vif l’Express, Knack magazine, NRC Handelsblad, Métro, la Dernière Heure, Imagine, Agence France Presse, Belga agency, 24h01… She also enjoys telling stories through other media than photography. Whether in video, radio, text or transmedia. Since 2015, she has been developing documentary projects about the French Legion, and in Ukraine and Poland. She also keeps working as a freelance photographer, author and director for personal projects or assignments (press, corporate films, NGO’s…), mainly from Kinshasa, DR Congo. And always with the same leitmotiv : trying to understand the world as it goes, by immersing herself in contexts or realities that are ‘a priori’ distant or complex.
