I'm a Canadian-British print and radio journalist focused on Syria, Jordan and Lebanon. Right now I'm looking at Deraa and the southern front, the economics of refugee camps and aid, US involvement in Syria and the American-run FSA training camps in Jordan. I have a background in technology and am very interested in mobile apps, social networks and development, particularly in Afghanistan.

I speak English and French and intermediate Arabic, and I have a MA in journalism from City University London. I'm currently based in Amman and able to travel on short notice for an assignment.
