I am a British journalist, writer and photographer based in New York City. My work, from countries as far afield as Somalia, India and Israel, has appeared in The Economist, The Guardian, Esquire and many others. My favoured topics include displaced populations, press freedom and cultural divides. However I have written on sport, music and film. I am also an experienced screenwriter and producer. I created a series of historical documentaries and have works in progress for Vice and Al Jazeera.
