I am a broadcast, video journalist and associate producer. I have experience working as a broadcast journalist which involved interviewing, self-filming and editing news and entertainment packages for both broadcast and online. I am fully competent with editing software such as Premiere Pro and Avid. I am fully competent filming on Canon XA20, XA35 and Canon 7D cameras. I also write presenter and reporter links and upload content to internal systems as well as websites. I have experience working in the gallery, where I was responsible for loading graphics (name straps, live location bugs, flash warning, credits, etc) as well as updating travel and weather, keeping across breaking news and editing live content. As a video journalist, I film, produce and edit content for various platforms. I shoot on a Canon 750 D camera (own kit). I film both on location (rallies, press conferences, galleries, etc) and in studio. I enjoy the variety of work I get to undertake and the experience I have gained working across various platforms has allowed me to be innovative in my work. I am passionate about news and current affairs and enjoy making informative and entertaining news packages. |
